Angry Birds is a puzzle strategy game developed by Rovio mobile. It was first released in December 2009. Jaakko lisalo is the head designer of the game. When the game was designed, the developing team realised that the birds needed an enemy. In those days swine flu epidemic was in the news which made the pigs enemy in the game. Starting from Apple's iOS, the game was then designed for other platforms like Android, Windows, Symbian, PSP, PlayStation, Blackberry tablet OS and now the game is available for Facebook from February 2012. After the first version of Angry Birds named Angry Birds Classic new versions named Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Magic have been developed for various platforms. Angry Birds won 'Best Game App' and 'App Of The Year' at UK appy awards 2011. At 15th Webby Awards, Angry Birds won the award for 'Best Game For Handheld Devices'.
